Linda Tillery Birthday Celebration

Linda Tillery is a Grammy nominated vocalist, percussionist, producer, self-taught ethnomusicologist, and an influential force in the Bay Area for over 58 years. She started her career as lead singer of the psychedelic soul band, Loading Zone. Linda is also a pioneer in Women’s Music. She is the founder and Artistic Director of Linda Tillery and the Cultural Heritage Choir, an African-American roots music ensemble that has toured the US and 25 countries abroad. Her recording credits include Boz Scaggs, Tracy Nelson, Santana, The Whispers, Lenny White, Wilson Picket, Taj Mahal, Eric Bibb, Vicki Randle, Coke Escovedo, Sheila E and Sylvester
