It generated buzz all over the world making him a preferred voice in the salsa genre. His roots in the Latin power vocal style produce warm\, beautiful tones as he exhales his melodies. The singer songwriter engages his audience with his pure\, passionate vocals and Carlos is able to rise up and shine. His sound is very identifiable to the Latin American community as it draws from Latin Balada roots and meshes them with R&B and Pop\, creating original sounding salsa songs. His melodies are expressed through his passionate lyrics and his desire to reach people’s souls. \nEl cantante y compositor Nicaragüense Carlos Xavier nos ha mostrado su más reciente disco “Vive Todo Ahora” que fue todo un éxito. Hoy se encuentra en su segunda producción con el All-Star team de\, Efrain “Junito” Davila\, Guianko Gomez y Juan Mayito Aracil. En esta segunda producción\, Carlos y su equipo se juntan con el gran percusionista Marc Quiñones para darles el sabor que va identificar su sonido. Carlos Xavier vuelve de nuevo con sus canciones originales románticas\, pero esta vez con mucha más experiencia. Carlos es muy versátil pero dice que la salsa es donde se siente en casa. Se siente muy orgulloso de poder seguir  esta tradición y disfruta sacar temas para el mundo salsero.

We are so happy to introduce a regularly occurring musical happening curated and hosted by Mad Johnny Modell and Wally Llama Ingram from the band Casa Del Sol\, along with our dear friend and collaborator Joby Marmot King Pritzker. \nEach monthly event will feature an original set by Casa Del Sol followed by a performance from a band or artist with whom we either share a close musical kinship\, or who is a novel artist we’re excited to introduce to our Bay Area gang of deep music lovers (AKA The Strange Angels). The third act of the night will be a cross-collaboration featuring all the above\, as well as very special guests and musical luminaries. Our mission is to draw upon the rich musical heritage of San Francisco in order to foster a regular collective of artists and music lovers which honors and expands upon that spirit. The music will be top notch; the vibe will be celebratory. Won’t you join us at the House of Love?! \n  \nCASA DE SOL \nCasa Del Sol is a band of brothers with a mission to shed light in dark times. While the band might be called “alternative”\, its cinematic music is rooted in 1960s and 1970s-inspired and socially-conscious psychedelic soul-rock. The proudly San Francisco\, California-based band has just released its debut album\, Strange Angels\, a “turn on\, tune in\, drop out” offering- it’s a journey that rewards listening in one continuous sitting. The band is currently working on their follow up album. \nThe four-piece group’s freewheeling but distinctive aesthetic encompasses strains of psychedelia\, soul\, rock\, blues\, jazz\, folk\, and world music. Casa Del Sol features singer-songwriter\, producer\, and guitarist Mad Johnny Modell\, and his best friend of 30 years\, legendary drummer Wally Ingram (Sheryl Crow\, Crowded House\, Eric Burdon\, Stockholm Syndrome\, Bob Weir and Phil Lesh\, Jackson Browne\, Bonnie Raitt). The band is rounded out by Modell’s dear friends\, bassist Mike DiPirro (Free Peoples\, Albany Project\, Bill Kreutzmann) and keyboardist Mighty Dave Pellicciaro (Jackmormons\, Materialized). The band that emerged from the mighty DAG serves up a gritty blend of swampy grooves\, deep blues\, and psychedelic jams. \nAdams is a veteran road warrior (NYC Jamband\, The Hatters) and an award-winning composer known for iconic film and TV scores including Californication\, Lethal Weapon\, The 100\, and NCIS: New Orleans. He’s joined by drum legend Wally Ingram (Timbuk 3\, David Lindley\, Bob Weir) and mighty Ben Levine on bass (country legend Neal McCoy\, and INXS lead singer Ciaran Gribbin). Together\, Dagnasterpus channels cosmic funk with feet (tentacles) firmly planted in the mud.

As founder\, guitarist\, and main composer Dave Ricketts says\, the band is “in love with the music of Louis Armstrong\, Fats Waller and Jimmie Rodgers\, as well as the stories\, the life styles and the foot steps of hundreds of other great jazz\, blues\, country and rock musicians that created the sound of American Music from roughly 1900-1950’s” \nGaucho has recorded eight albums\, tours regularly\, and has an increasing repertoire of over forty original tunes. Seven of their tunes are featured in the 2012 film “Trattoria”; one was chosen by the Metropolitan Museum of Art for their website; and another is featured in the outtakes section of the Pixar DVD CARS 2. In 2018\, Gaucho got a song in the Hollywood Movie “Destination Wedding” starring Keanu Reeves and Winona Ryder. And two of Dave’s own compositions will be placed in a New York City based indie film\, “Stationed at Home\,” in 2022. \nLed by eminent guitarist\, Dave Ricketts\, the group has been a San Francisco mainstay for nearly twenty years\, and one of the busiest bands in the bay area playing 5 to 10 gigs a week. Together with virtuosos Rob Reich–accordion and Craig Venetresco–guitar\, superlative bassist Ari Munkres\, the honorable Leon Oakley–cornet\, and versatile percussionist Steve Apple\, these guys keep crowds moving with their beats and complex rhythms.
