Radio Sofia

Radio Sophia is an instrumental musical collaboration between
David Boyce (Saxophones, Loops, Effects), Michael Cavaseno (Guitar, Loops, Effects) and Zori Marinova (Percussion: Congas, Bongos, Cajon, Etc).

The trio’s sound can be described as Groovy, Soulful Mix of Jazz, Pop, RnB and World Music. And plays weekly on Saturday’s at Etcetera Wine bar.

Radio Sofia has been playing together consistently for over 10 Years and has performed for audiences at venues such as The Great American Music Hall, Friday Nights at The DeYoung Museum, Yoshi’s SF, Etc.

David Boyce (Broun Fellinis, Black Quarterback, 6 Roses)

is a mesmerizing multi-reed player and is one of the great musical treasures of the Bay Area. His sound can be described as Afro-Futuristic, steeped in Jazz, informed by Soul and World Music.
