Based in the San Francisco Bay Area, Frankly Martini is an electrifying 7-piece jazz/jazz fusion combo made up of Berkeley students who wanted to do a little more than study for their college degrees. Under the tutelage of famed Bay Area pianist Frank Martin (the group’s namesake), this eclectic group performs a repertoire of anything from the likes of the Mahavishnu Orchestra, Snarky Puppy, Lyle Mays, Mike Stern, and Pat Metheny, to the many original compositions of the members themselves.
