Henry Plumb Trio

24 year old Henry Plumb is a versatile top call drummer from the San Francisco/Bay Area, CA, and graduate of Berklee College of Music, class of ‘23. Beginning to play at age 4, he has become well versed in a myriad of genres, including big band and small group Swing, Gospel, Funk, Fusion, Rock, Pop, Hip-Hop, R&B, Reggae, Latin/Afro-Cuban, New Orleans Second Line. In the words of esteemed saxophonist and educator Paul Contos, “His innate ability to commandeer many styles is paramount.” Henry has studied with many renowned drummers, including Francisco Mela, Dave DiCenso, Lil John Roberts, Marko Djordjevic, James Murphy, Neal Smith, and Casey Scheuerell. He now plays full time around the Bay Area and beyond with established musicians/groups including Jazz Mafia, Collectivity, The Kyle Athayde Dance Party, Oakadelic, Fog City Swing, Adam Klipple, Anthony Arya, Speakeasē, Malpica, and Chris Aschman. He’s also shared the stage with Allen Stone, Leo Pellegrino, Chucho Valdés, Eddie Barbash, June Cavlan, Mireya Ramos, Giorgi Mikadze, Erik Jekabson, Mark Ligonde, and Matt Wilson.
