Annie Orzen Trio

Annie Orzen is a 22-year-old pianist, bandleader, and educator based in San Francisco. While her formal training is rooted in jazz, Annie’s musical voice is shaped by a wide range of influences, from indie pop to classical to rock.

She holds a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Piano Performance from the Eastman School of Music, where she studied with pianist Gary Versace. During her time at Eastman, she performed with ensembles including the Eastman Jazz Ensemble (under Christine Jensen), the New Jazz Ensemble, the Studio Orchestra, and the Jazz Vocal Ensemble. She also co-founded several student-led projects, including the jazz/Indian-folk fusion group The Sonic Alchemists and her own Annie Orzen Trio. Annie also formed and leads Seldon, a pop-jazz group that has gained online traction with over 100,000 streams across streaming platforms.
