The Jazz in the Alley series returns to Kerouac Alley for its fifth year, celebrating a milestone season of live music in the heart of North Beach.

Led by one of the Bay Area’s most distinguished jazz bassists, the trio delivers a set focused on the technical foundations of bebop and straight ahead jazz. Chris Amberger brings a professional history that includes tenures with jazz icons such as George Shearing, Art Blakey, and Cal Tjader.
