Originally from Long Island and inspired by the storytelling of the great 70s singer-songwriters, Dennis Palmieri has become a beloved fixture in the San Francisco cabaret and lounge scene. After years away, he returned to the city to find his voice as a solo artist, launching his signature “Pop Piano Cabaret” and releasing his first EP in late 2025. Known for his “unpretentious mastery” and relatable stage presence, Palmieri is part of a new wave of performers bringing the intimate, song-focused tradition of the classic piano lounge back to the forefront of San Francisco nightlife.
