Future Famous Fridays: Same Spell, Queen of Cardboard & Supercoze

Kick off the weekend in the heart of North Beach with Future Famous Fridays, a curated showcase featuring three of the Bay Area’s most compelling emerging acts. This performance takes place at the historic Savoy Tivoli, an open-air institution on Upper Grant Avenue that has served as a cultural anchor for the neighborhood since 1907.

The Lineup

Same Spell:  Same Spell explores the intersection of psychedelic rock and garage-tinged indie. Their sets are defined by a driving rhythmic foundation and expansive instrumental layers, offering a modern take on the classic San Francisco psych-rock legacy.

Queen of Cardboard: This San Francisco-based ensemble brings a playful and energetic approach to art-rock. Known for their tight arrangements and charismatic stage presence, they blend elements of post-punk and indie-pop into a sound that is both intellectual and danceable.

Supercoze: Led by artist Sage Chavis, SuperCoze delivers a lush blend of dream-pop and indie-soul. The music is characterized by shimmering guitar textures and emotive, melodic vocals that create a cinematic and introspective atmosphere.
