Set in the heart of San Francisco’s historic Fillmore District—once known as the “Harlem of the West”—this performance offers a high-fidelity blend of original compositions and beloved standards from the Great American Songbook.

Sharman Duran (Vocals & Piano): Described as a “later-day Blossom Dearie,” Duran is a spirited jazz vocalist and pianist who views the world from a unique, left-of-center perspective. Her performances are known for being complex and nuanced, often featuring original works from her acclaimed album Questioning Reality. Whether she is delivering a whimsical original or a hauntingly rearranged standard, her jazzy spirited delivery brings a modern, intellectual edge to the classic piano lounge tradition.
